This article examines the role of reading culture in the development of linguistic processes and intercultural communication in the multiethnic region of the Fergana Valley. It analyzes the impact of reading on the preservation of linguistic diversity, the formation of cultural identity, and the strengthening of interethnic interaction in the context of globalization. Particular attention is paid to the role of educational institutions, libraries, and digital technologies in supporting the languages of the peoples of the region. The study is based on an analysis of scientific literature, sociolinguistic research, and contemporary educational practices. It reveals that reading culture is an important factor in the sustainable development of the linguistic environment and contributes to the preservation of the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Fergana Valley
