Abstract

The article examines the legal mechanisms for implementing the right of juvenile offenders to health protection and social adaptation. A comparative analysis of the legislation of Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Western countries is conducted. The authors substantiate the necessity of transitioning from a punitive model to medico-social rehabilitation.
